Xrf analysis and elemental mapping providers in the USA? Conclusion: Based on the analytical report, the client was able to demonstrate that the particles were consistent with a common aspirin tablet. When the end customer was approached with this report, they remembered that their spouse had taken an aspirin earlier that morning, and had likely used the bottle of water in question to do so. Based on this, the customer was happy, the manufacturing client was satisfied, and the sample was maintained – undestroyed should someone need to examine the sample again or do any more esoteric testing. For an affordable price, the client was able to get piece of mind, and gather information from a very wide range of testing methods quickly and accurately.
SEM allows for high magnification surface examinations of a wide variety of samples. Providing brilliant resolution as well as incredible depth of field, the SEM, especially when combined with EDS, is often considered the most powerful analytical tool of our time. Let us show you why. X-ray imaging allows us to look inside of a device without opening it up. This real-time nondestructive inspection technique can be used on packaged electronic devices to one of a kind ancient artifacts. With rapid image acquisition and high sample throughput, X-ray imaging is particularly useful for sample screening and quality control issues. It is also often the first step in failure analysis and polished cross section projects.

The client was able to obtain a comprehensive sampling of the state of the soldering process from the new manufacturer at a very reasonable cost. Rather than acquiring a mass of images, electrical test print outs, or low resolution optical pictures, the client received a comprehensive report detailing the relevant findings of the analysis on the boards from the new manufacturer. The solder joints in this study showed good bond integrity as well as excellent intermetallic layers. These findings allowed for the validation of the new manufacturer and their process which allowed for the clients device production to resume. The QC Engineers were very pleased with the customer service, analysis, pricing and quick turnaround time of this project.
?MicroVision Labs is owned and operated by a career microscopist, John Knowles, who understands the needs of our clients. Our emphasis on helping our clients solve problems, not just providing data, sets us apart from other labs. We have the technology and knowledge to find answers to your most difficult challenges, helping you succeed at every step. Can I come in to see my samples analyzed? Yes, our clients are always welcome to come in while their samples are being analyzed. For much of the work we do, it is mutually beneficial for our clients to be present to help direct their project since they can provide expertise about their samples. Some of the services we provide such as polished cross sections have time consuming steps making it impractical for a client to stay to watch everything. In those cases it is recommended that you come in initially to explain what you need done and come back at a later time to see the finished product.
The client was able to determine the source of the black dust was due to the mechanical breakdown of the foam cushions in the impacted room, and not from mold or mildew growth. The experienced analysts at MicroVision Labs were able to differentiate the foam materials from either blown cellulose or urethane foam insulation or air filters, allowing for the client to easily remove the problem cushions.
